Alright everyone, here is what you need to know to make your character. Please post your completed character here, and I will take it and edit it with stats when you level during our sessions.

NOTE: If I see ANY stats changed when I start the games, I WILL FORCE YOU TO MAKE A NEW CHARACTER. This is FINAL and to prevent cheaters.

Alright, here is the info you need.

Alright. Here is the needed info to MAKE said character. If you are having a bit of trouble, you can always ask me during our next session, but please have a basic outline planned.


RACES

Elves

The most magically adaptive of the races, the elves have lived in their country to the northeast, preferring a peaceful trade with the other races. However, this betrays their true nature: elves have been fighting amongst each other for centuries, their magic used as weapons rather than peace. Even the Council has been unable to stop the endless skirmishes between each of the different clans.

Racial Bonuses:

+1 DEX +1 INTEL -2 STR -2 STAM during character creation
+3 Damage with spells, healing included
+2 damage with ranged weapons
All elves start with 1 spell minimum



Demons

Demons are largely misunderstood by most people. They are not the vicious, flesh eating monsters some portray them to be. Rather, they are a separate species of elf that have decided to split themselves from the Elvin community and make a life for themselves on their own. Demons look the exact same as elves with only one key difference; their blood red eyes. Demon's eyes have no pupils and no "whites", their eyes are pure, bright red. Demon/Elf hybrids have also been seen, their eyes looking the same as a normal elf but their eyes are red in color, where other elves would be blue, green, or other colors. Demons are highly organized and militaristic, and governed by a single Emperor who commands the military. The demon military relies upon both conscription and volunteers, with volunteers getting better treatment in the military.

Racial Bonuses

+3 STR -2 DEX during character creation
+2 Stam per level
+3 damage with melee weapons
Can do combos regardless of DEX



Humans

Humans are the most common on the continent of Jandio, and most of the time most peaceful. However, recently a civil war has struck the community, causing the two peoples north and south of the Great Divide to war each other. The North, led by the Great Master of the Templar, the High Councilor of the Courts, and the Grandmaster Imperial, fight the forces of the south, led by the Grand Marshal of the Twilight. Humans are a good choice for a balanced character, and can wield many weapons that the other two can only wield at higher levels.

Racial Bonuses:

+1 to all stats during character creation
+10 damage when fighting something an ally is fighting
All humans start with the "Herbalism" ability
All humans start with 2 different weapons (3 if dual swords is chosen)





CLASSES

Each race has several classes that a player can choose to become. Some classes perform specific tasks, while others are jack-of-all-trades. Each class has several bonuses applied to them as well.

ELVIN CLASSES

Flameelf

Masters of offensive magic, these powerhouses can easily fry their enemies with their furious attacks. Flameelves are one of the ONLY classes that can combo magic attacks.

Class Bonuses:
+3 to offensive magic
-3 to healing magic, x2 cost
Can combo offensive spells
+2 Intel during character creation

Waterelf

The most peaceful and kind of the elves, the Waterelf clan refuse to war their fellow elf, and instead gathers the wounded and heal them at their clan's villages. Waterelves are distinguish in maturity was the mature ones have wings, the more wings the more powerful the Waterelf. Waterelves focus on healing magic, and as such have a hard time with offensive spells.

Class Bonuses:
-3 to offensive magic, x2 cost
+3 to healing magic
Can combo defensive spells (healing, shields, etc.)
+2 Intel during character creation

Mountainelf

The strongest of the clans, the Mountainelves fight with melee weapons, and are called "The Demons of the Mountains" by their opponents, the Darkelves. Using superior power and strength, these elves have both magic and melee on their side due to their racial inclinations. Mountainelves are also naturally inclined to find the rare and powerful metal, Gladrin, hailed to be the strongest of all metals.

Class Bonuses:
+3 melee damage
-2 DEX during character creation
+2 STR during character creation
All Mountainelves start with "Smithing" ability

Darkelf

The most cautious and cunning of all the clans, the Darkelves are cunning and dangerous, preferring to use their skills for stealthy sneak attacks. Darkelves also have an order of "ninjas" using their abilities to dart in and out of combat.

Class Bonuses:
ABILITY: Shadowwalk: Each turn in combat or any time out of combat you can jump into a shadow. For the next 30 seconds, you are immune to damage, and then must jump out of any shadow within 10 meters that could be seen upon you jumping into the shadow
+3 DEX during character creation

Woodelf

The Woodelves prefer to stay within the borders of the forest, honing their skills in archery and tying themselves to nature. Woodelves are average both in strength and magic, but they can eliminate a fly at 200 yards with a bow.

Class Bonuses:
ABILITY: Nature's Commune: Out of combat you can speak to animals and trees, allowing them to give you useful information. Useless in dungeons bare of life.
+2 DEX during character creation
Woodelves always start with a type of bow. No melee weapons can be chosen upon startup.
All Woodelves start with the "Aim" ability



DEMON CLASSES


Volunteer Soldier

The basic foot infantry of the demons, soldiers are treated with little respect until they rank. Volunteers, however, are treated with much more respect than their conscripted counterparts, and as such normally receive the guidance of higher ranking officers.

Class Bonuses:
+1 to STR and STAM per level
Start the game with a random Demon Captain/General/Sergeant as your ally if you enter demon lands
+100 Gold during character creation
+2 STR and STAM during character creation

Conscripted Soldier

*Note that people who do not take the time to make their character get this as their default. Twisted Evil *

Conscripted soldiers are the lowest cl;ass of the demon military. These demons have been conscripted against their will to act as guards and front line fighters. While they have skills volunteers do not have, they are often despised and hated by others in the demon military

Class Bonuses:
+1 to STR and STAM per level
Start the game disliked by other members of the Demon Military
+2 STR and STAM during character creation
All Conscripted soldiers start with 1 ability of their choice

Demon Elite

A special team of demon soldiers, these elite soldiers are called out when everything else seems dim. They have skills that would make other people jealous, and can easily dispatch an entire slew of forces with their bare hands, due to training in martial arts. Due to them being a highly secretive operation, they are unknown to most foot soldiers in the Demon Military.

Class Bonuses:
+3 to STR and STAM during character creation
Start the game unknown by other members of the Demon Military
+3 to unarmed damage
Unarmed damage suffers no penalty to armored foes
+2 damage during combos

HUMAN CLASSES

Holy Templar

The Templar of the Sun's Light, or the Holy Templar, as they are called, are the mail military of the northern humans. Using both a bow and sword in combat, these human soldiers are always trained well, giving them abilities equal to any elf or demon.

Class Bonuses
+1 to all stats during character creation (total of +2 to all with human bonus as well)
+2 Charisma per level
All Holy Templar start with "Appraisal" ability

Twilight Templar

The Twilight Templar are the forces of the south in the civil war. These Templar get by on raiding and slaughtering, prefering to steal to buy. The Twilight Templar are hated by their own people and enemies alike.

Class Bonuses
-3 to Charisma during character creation
All Twilight Templar start with the "Steal" ability
All Twilight Templar start with the "Poisonmaking" ability
+2 to STR per level

Soldier of the Order Imperial

Soldiers of the Courts of the Order Imperial, the judicial system of the northern humans, these forces specialize in naval and sea combat. They have excellent swimming ability, and are also known as the "Lords of the Sea" among the humans.

Class Bonuses:
+2 to damage when fighting on a ship or in water
All Soldiers of the Order Imperial start with the "Swimming" ability
+2 DEX during character creation
All Soldiers of the Order Imperial are immune to the law while in North Cynadar (North Human lands; think of the Mass Effect Spectres)

Notes: Yvaine's background was fairly typical for a waterelf, save that her mother is a great matriarch of her kind. Tragedy struck the waterelf when she was kidnapped from her homeland and taken aboard a ship for cruel and abusive purposes. Salvation came to her in the form of Tristan Thorn, who rescued her but could not rescue himself from his fellow sailors. She thought him lost...

...but in a flash of light, she has come to find that he lives, though changed from what he once was. And she too is changing - a great pain in her chest portended that she needed to find shelter and in it remain cloistered until the change was complete. However, the demands of a greedy barman and a desperate dragon-knight pulled her from the security of her room and she began her transformation, which has wrought destruction to the small village she finds herself in, along with the others. However, upon its completion she has sprouted four wings and her magic has grown in potency.

Notes: Tristan was a sailor who sought adventure on the open waters, and found it in the capture of Yvaine. Wrought by her torment aboard the ship he worked upon, he arranged for her escape but was himself found out and convicted of mutiny. He was placed on a deserted island and left to die. This isle was no ordinary place - tainted by darkness it was and it warped him, infusing him with frightening powers of darkness while wasting away his physical form. Only by a sudden flash of light was he salvaged from something more terrible than death...

...and found himself with Yvaine and others in a strange place once more. Thrusting himself upon the role of her protector, he found himself needing to find a way to safeguard her from others, by her own direction. Alas, this was not to be, and in his young and impetuous haste to secure her back to her room, his very arms were shriveled up and broken from his body.

Yet the curse of darkness was lifted him, and for a time his soul felt light again. Addled with pain, he thanked the assault that cost him his arms but took the darkness from him. When a waterelf matriarch regenerated his arms, he pledged himself to the service of all their kind. But Yvaine's transformation was only begun, and as he knelt in supplication, the tendrils emerged and surrounded him at all quarters.

But near at hand was a ring set with a black diamond. Seeing another tendril coming towards him, he took the ring as a sign and placed it on his finger. But the salvation he sought was not as he wished - for the ring changed him, shaping his skin to black scales and dark power manifesting in six black wings that emerged from his back. The tendrils of white light which devastated the village around him did not harm him when he was struck, and unthinking, he broke one away with casual strength. Yet more sought him, and he flew from their grasp, hovering in the sky for some time. But the transformation was only temporary and he descended, and cast off the ring, which made it clear it was not for him.

He awaited Yvaine's transformation, marveling at the beauty mingled with the raw power of her form.

dolosus vulpes as he is known but no one really knows his true identity, is a member of A special team of demon soldiers, his secrative training and even more secret mission placed him in the pits of hell over and over again where he watch death and carnage all around him it was almost a daily thing. the blood curtailing screams of those injured but would not make it blood covered him daily as he fought through these times. He would regularly come from battles soaked in the blood of his fallen enemies his skin was stained red to the point it matched his eyes. With the constant reminders of hell in is head he rarely slept every time he closed his eyes he seen death. One day after a fierce battle one of which he was one of two survivors both agreed to go into into hiding and spread the word that they also died in battle. With the Military life behind him he set out to find work not finding after some time of going hungry and with no work he went back to what he did best but not for the military but for hire wondering the roads looking for any group or and one needing an extra hand in battle.

haha im a demon elite as well and i also have xp from last night so you fear me lol

also everyone that does not have their bio on this thread please type one up and post it and also try to find a picture that best suites you image of your character. i am using this information for some thing special i think you all will like i know verinon and ally like it so far and i think spirit does he never commented.

Born as a Woodelf to a family of noblemen serving the Flameelf royal family, Spiritsong was brought up with a small portion of Flameelf blood to become the heir to a wealthy family, and nephew to the King. At an early age he began being tutored all week by the best teachers so he could become a good noble and replace his father when the time came. He began to spend his free time hunting and soon became very skilled with his long bow. However, he soon believed his family to be pompous fools and believed they were to trustful of others.

However, one fateful night, the Darkelvs, believing the Woodelves and their offspring to be a threat if they joined the massive territory war fought by the Flame, Mountain, and Dark elf clans, hired a small army of human mercenaries and launched a massive night attack on Tanwa's family's villa, all but annihilating the few forces stationed there and killing Tanwa's family.

Killing seven Darkelf Nightwalkers and eight human mercenaries and escaping with his life, he was left as the sole survivor of the Emberthine family.

Now he walks a path with his friends, never forgetting that massacre, or his hatred for the Darkelves and humans both.

Reminds me of us so much. spirit is the one in the fridge. red dragon is the space looking guy in blue. and crimson is the guy casting spells lol.
